In RPS Metrology the R-EVO TITANIUM series is the solution for large 3D measurement, in contact or with laser scanner.

R-EVO TITANIUM series, in two configurations and 6 or 7 axes and two levels of accuracy, is the portable 3D measuring instrument designed according to the standards and the most demanding requirements and applications of modern industry. The TITANIUM series, like all RPS products, offers maximum performance in terms of measurement accuracy, in any work environment.

R-EVO TITANIUM series is used as an independent metrological measurement instrument, equipped with a contact probe for the inspection, digitization or reverse-engineering of objects of different materials and sizes. R-EVO TITANIUM is verified and certified according to the strictest ISO10360-12: 2016 standards.

The high-precision transducers and an innovative system for assembling the articulated axes together with the use of materials such as titanium and composite materials, guarantee the measuring arm great precision, repeatability and reliability over time. In particular, the TITANIUM series uses titanium as the main material for the joints of the axles, making the structure rigid and precise even at maximum extension.

Design, portability and usability

R-EVO TITANIUM series, thanks to the extreme reliability of the mechanical and electronic design, the automatic temperature compensation and the light and rigid structure, can be applied to all 3D metrological inspection activities.

Especially for the inspection of machined or semi-finished mechanical parts or assemblies, the TITANIUM series offers a measuring range of 5, 6, 7 or 9m, and is therefore suitable for industrial sectors where the control of large parts is required, directly on site and without requiring a special operating environment.

The RPS patented balancing system offers effortless use experience, both in the short and in prolonged use of the arm, despite the size of the arm reaching up to 9m in diameter as a measuring range.

High performance in any environment

Thanks to the 3 “1/2 quick coupling, R-EVO can be used in the work environment on rigid and heavy support tripods, but mobile on wheels, to reach the work area comfortably. Other support systems can also be used, even customized, suitable for the particular to be measured. R-EVO TITANIUM can be used even in the worst environmental conditions, in the presence of high humidity, large temperature ranges or dust. The arm integrates temperature sensors for automatic compensation of thermal expansion during the measurement, of the arm itself and of the piece to be measured.

Laser Scanner

The R-SCAN or S-SCAN Laser scanner are the solution for laser scanning with laser technology with superior quality optics, based on the 7-axis R-EVO arm. It generates excellent scanning results with high resolution and low noise, thus allowing you to capture the smallest details of the scanned object. The blue light laser enables precise and fast scans in 3D inspection applications with point clouds or Reverse-Engineering.

The 50, 100 or 200mm laser line scanner can be applied to R-EVO TITANIUM in the 7-axis version.
